Weddings
For our couples, exclusive use of the wonderfully restored stone barns which, with their lime washed walls, have a Tuscan vibe, surrounding a huge courtyard garden.
Thanks to the layout of these ancient buildings we are able to cater for occasions from the most intimate micro-weddings to those with much larger guest lists of up to 300.
We have accommodation for the bride and groom on site in the fully restored Gate House, with fantastic accommodation for wedding guests just a couple of fields away.

The Grounds
We’ve spent thirty years restoring and recreating our historic gardens and grounds, so you can be sure they’ll make the perfect backdrop to your wedding, whatever the season.
The courtyard garden, with its avenues of fragrant lavender, rose arbour and ancient stone walls dressed in jasmine and wisteria surround lawns perfect for summer canapés, cocktails and music.
In autumn and winter the ancient oaks, topiary, Italian terracotta and stone combine with elegant lighting to bring a little fairytale magic to your celebrations.
The Gate House
Within the grounds of the Llwyn y Maen estate we offer a private and peaceful cottage for your exclusive use. The Gate House is the perfect place to wake up on the morning of your wedding, enjoy a glass of champagne with your bridesmaids as you prepare for the ceremony, and to return when the day is done for a restful night.
Overlooking woods and parkland this picturesque cottage with sitting area, kitchen, wet room and one bedroom has been sensitively restored to offer a charming and intimate romantic retreat for two.
Bridal Preparation Suite
As well as being the perfect place to wake on the morning after your wedding, the Gate House makes a perfect bridal preparation suite; with lots of natural light, high ceilings, hanging space and full height mirrors.
